Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural design, analysis, and coordination of building projects, with a strong understanding of international codes and standards. This role involves leading structural engineering efforts from concept design through to construction, ensuring technical excellence and project delivery within budget and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings, including high-rise, commercial, residential, and specialized structures.

Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, façade specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.

Conduct structural assessments, feasibility studies, and provide technical recommendations.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.

Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.

Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and site inspections.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain high standards of technical quality.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, including large-scale or complex projects.

Proven experience with international codes (e.g., Eurocodes, ACI, BS, ASCE, IBC).

Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Robot, or similar.

Strong understanding of materials including concrete, steel, and composite systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with BIM tools and processes (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).

Experience with seismic and wind design for high-rise structures.

Knowledge of structural systems and structural integration.

Previous consultancy or multidisciplinary team experience is a plus.
