Head Waiter

We are looking for an experienced and professional Head Waiter to lead our service team and ensure an excellent dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, customer-focused, and able to lead the team effectively during busy service periods.

Compensation

~$900 Basic Salary + Transportation

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate waiters and service staff during daily operations.

Ensure high standards of food and beverage service at all times.

Welcome guests and ensure they receive professional and attentive service.

Assign tables and responsibilities to service staff.

Monitor guest satisfaction and handle customer requests or concerns professionally.

Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth and timely service.

Train, guide, and motivate waiters and new team members.

Ensure tables, service areas, and dining areas are clean and properly prepared.

Check orders for accuracy and ensure correct presentation and delivery.

Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and staff coordination.

Follow and enforce restaurant hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Captain or similar role.

Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Good customer-service and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.

Fluency in English is preferred; additional languages are a plus.
