Senior HR Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Consultant to partner with clients in understanding, documenting, and transforming their HR business processes using Microsoft Dynamics HR. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor who analyzes current workflows, captures requirements through detailed documentation, and uses a "show and tell" approach to guide customers through how their processes can be optimized and executed within Dynamics HR. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, empowering clients to envision and adopt modern HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with clients to understand current HR business processes, pain points, and organizational requirements.
• Document existing processes, workflows, and system configurations through detailed process maps, flowcharts, and requirements specifications.
• Translate business requirements into Dynamics HR capabilities through hands-on demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions.
• Design and deliver "show and tell" presentations showcasing how specific client processes can be executed in Dynamics HR, including live system walkthroughs and scenario-based examples.
• Create comprehensive process documentation that bridges the gap between current state and target state solutions.
• Engage stakeholders across HR, finance, and operations to gather multi-functional input and ensure alignment on proposed approaches.
• Identify process optimization opportunities and best practices that can be achieved through Dynamics HR implementation.
• Develop training materials and process guides to enable client teams to understand and adopt Dynamics HR workflows.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure captured requirements are accurately translated into system configurations.
• Provide advisory support on change management and organizational readiness for HR system transformation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in HR consulting, HR operations, or HRIS implementation.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics HR, demonstrating deep knowledge of core HR modules and functionality.
• Proven expertise in HR process analysis, business process reengineering, and requirements documentation.
• Strong ability to communicate complex HR concepts and system capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with experience in delivering client demonstrations and workshops.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, leave management, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into practical Dynamics HR solutions through clear, compelling demonstrations.
• Experience writing detailed process documentation and requirements specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Dynamics certification or equivalent technical credentials.
• Background in change management and organizational transformation.
• Experience with Visio, process mapping tools, or business analysis methodologies (BPMN, UML).
• Knowledge of HR compliance, payroll integration, and multi-region HR processes.
• Experience facilitating workshops and leading cross-functional working groups.
• Familiarity with training and knowledge transfer approaches.
