Job Summary

The Senior Operations Manager will oversee end-to-end air freight forwarding operations, including import, export, and transit shipments. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, cost control, and high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will lead operations teams, coordinate with global stakeholders, and implement process improvements to optimize performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily air freight operations (import, export, and transit shipments).
• Supervise operations teams and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
• Coordinate with airlines, agents, customs authorities, and clients.
• Monitor shipment schedules, resolve delays, and handle real-time operational issues.
• Ensure full compliance with international regulations (IATA, customs laws, and related guidelines).
• Control operational costs, negotiate freight rates, and improve profitability.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients and partners.
• Identify and implement process improvements and operational strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in air freight forwarding operations.
• Strong knowledge of IATA regulations and international air cargo procedures.
• Proven experience handling import/export operations independently.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
