Tenure-track faculty position in Industrial Engineering

The Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering (located in Byblos, Lebanon) invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of Industrial Engineering.

Applications will be reviewed continuously until the position is filled. Expected start date is, September 2024 (for Fall 24), or January 2025 (for spring 25), or September 2025 (for Fall 25).

Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related Engineering fields with an emphasis in one or more of the following areas :

• Ergonomics and human-machine interaction
• Planning and control of production and inventory systems
• Supply chain management and optimization
• Quality management systems and systems reliability
• Systems modeling and simulation including manufacturing and service systems
• Financial Engineering

The successful candidates will be expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and to participate actively in research as well as to perform services to the university.
