Manual QA Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manual QA Analyst with strong accounting / finance domain knowledge to join our team. This person will own the testing lifecycle for all product features , ensuring accuracy, stability, and compliance across both business and accounting modules. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in manual testing with a solid understanding of accounting workflows to validate business-critical features, conduct regression testing, and safeguard product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute end-to-end manual testing for all system features, including accounting modules.
• Perform regression, sanity, and smoke testing for each release.
• Translate business and accounting requirements into detailed, executable test cases.
• Validate financial calculations, reporting, reconciliations, and workflows against accounting standards.
• Maintain and update comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test cases, regression checklists).
• Identify, log, and track defects clearly, ensuring timely resolution with developers.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and accountants to ensure alignment on requirements.
• Proactively identify gaps or inconsistencies in requirements or implementation.  Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with accounting and business teams.
